Position tracking on glass sheets to drive the cutting-off pliers
The vision system detects the position of the incision lines and drives the cutting off pliers on the correct position.
At the same time it checks the total or partial sheet integrity, allowing the line supervisor to choose between several operation strategies.
Robot guidance for the taking of aluminum tubes
The vision system has the aim to provide a robot with the exact position of aluminum tubes in transit on a conveyor belt, to enable it to properly take the pipe with its pliers.
The tubes, already oriented on the pliers of the robot, can be then moved to a fixed position in front of a second camera, to be analyzed and provide visual information (measurement and quality) on the end worked part of the tube.
