The system is mounted on a small glass table and is equipped with all the devices necessary to make the station a machine that can be used online:

• belt to carry the pieces inside the machine
• motorized centering device to adapt to different diameters
• pneumatic blowing system to separate compliant pieces from waste
• control barriers, to ensure the absence of waste pieces in the compliant box

Vision systems for the visual testing of flanges. The system is designed to verify:

• presence of bevels
• absence of burrs
• hole measurement

To guarantee the three controls, the system features a telecentric optics and a collimated light illuminator, to guarantee low optical distortion and avoid edge effects or reflections.

The system is mounted in a station inside a processing cell and is served by a robot.
